The autofocus is the reason I switched. Eye tracking holds on a moving subject in a way my old body simply could not, and I keep frames now that I would have deleted before. Shooting kids and dogs at a family party used to mean a hit rate of maybe one in five; it is closer to four in five now. It also works in far worse light than I expected, which has quietly changed how I shoot indoors.

Files hold up to hard editing and the color out of camera needs very little work. It has become the body I reach for on paid jobs.

Comfortable to hold for a long day and the grip is deep enough for bigger lenses. The menu system is still a maze and I had to build a custom page to find anything.
