A family home in Riverton, 3 years on
Priya and Ben live 10 minutes from the workshop with 2 children, 2 cats, and a Luna sofa in Mint that has had all 4 of them on it at once. We went back to see how it had worn.

We delivered the sofa in 2023. The answer to how it had worn was in the photograph before we got through the door: 2 cats on it, both asleep, and not a pulled thread in sight.
The sofa the cats chose
The Luna is a flat-woven wool, which is the fabric we recommend for claws, and 3 years in there is not a mark on it. The cushions have been washed 4 times. Mint was Priya’s choice over the Sand everyone told her to get, and she says the color is the reason she still likes the room.
Everyone said get the beige. The beige would have been a beige sofa with cat hair on it. This one is a green sofa with cat hair on it, and I would rather have that.

Dinner for 4, homework for 2
The Minday dining table is round, which Ben chose because it meant no one sat at the head. It has 4 Elva chairs around it and a highchair that is now a step stool. The walnut has darkened where the sun reaches it and stayed pale under the fruit bowl, which has not moved in 3 years, and they have decided they like the mark.
What has worn, honestly
- The sofa’s seat cushions have softened. They were plumped weekly for a year and are now plumped when guests come.
- A chair back has a chip from a scooter. It has been oiled over and is darker there.
- The table’s oil was redone once, in year 2. It is due again.
Nothing has broken, and nothing has been replaced, which is the only test a family home sets. We photograph these visits ourselves, so what you see is what was there, cats included.
