3 keyboard switches, 3 weeks each, and the one I kept
Linear, tactile, and clicky, tested by the only method that works: actually typing on them until the novelty wears off.

Switch reviews are usually written after an afternoon. An afternoon tells you what a switch sounds like, which is the least important thing about it. So: 3 weeks each, same keyboard, same desk, same work.
Linear
Smooth all the way down, no bump, no click. Fast once your fingers trust it, and completely silent in an office. The problem is that nothing tells you a key has registered, so for the first week I bottomed out every key and my hands knew about it by Thursday.
Tactile
A bump partway down that says the keystroke landed. Slightly slower on paper and noticeably less tiring in practice, because you stop pressing as soon as you feel it. This is the one I kept.
Clicky
The bump plus a sharp noise. Genuinely enjoyable, genuinely antisocial. Fine in a room by yourself, impossible on a call, and the reason at least one person has been asked to work from home.
Type on them for a week, not an afternoon. Every switch is charming for an afternoon.
